Perfect dark roasty red color with staying head. Exceptionally smooth with slight hoppy finish. Very good. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

While not oustanding in anyway it is still very drinkable, go-down-easy session beer. Which I like. hopdog (5562), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

On tap at the 2008 Strong Ale Festival and listed as an IPA although the notes say Big IPA and ABV of 8.6. Poured a medium golden-amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of some fresh hoppiness and earthy. Tastes of fresh hops, citrus, pine, and lighter caramel. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 12, 2004 on tap at brewpub: i used to drink the pale ale , but this has now replaced it. and i guess by the taste this fits better in the pale ale range then IPA. once again served in a fronzen glass, blasted! slight nose of hops here. after tasting it you should be able to smell hops across the bar, not that it was that big but they are dominant. not really an IPA. too thin with not enough bitterness. easy to drink with little character. one of the better beers i had that night. good session. made for the masses not for a beer drinker looking for something a little special.
