Tenaya Creek Robust Porter

Nitro draught at the brewpub. Gorgeous beer with a milk chocolate and coffee aroma. Very creamy mouthfeel and tremendous flavour. Really pleasant porter.

Sample at the brewpub (nitro). This beer is a dark brownish-black color that has touches of ruby, and a thin and creamy tan head that diminishes slowly. Sheets of lacing on the glass. The aroma is roasty with malt and coffee. Medium-bodied and smooth with roasted coffee and malt flavors along with touches of hops. The finish is creamy and sweet with malt at first, followed by mildly bitter coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

Has a great appearnace. Had on nitro. Creamy with a good aroma. Flavor is both creamy and crisp, alternating. Not too sweet, it would be very easy to dwon a lot of these. My favorite I think from these guys ever, probably.
