Bottled. 33cl, 6.6% ABV. Hazy, reddish-brown with a huge tan head that disppeared too soon. There was an enormous preasure in the bottle, so I spilt a lot of beer on my table. Aromas of candisugar, some roastiness, dried fruits and caramel. Flavor is a bit more average, with caramel sweetness, baked apples and raisins. Some warming alcohol and bitterness at the end. Fizzy and a little sticky body. (060102)

Aug 14, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy to hazy golden brown with an orange glare and a creamy brown head. Dense dried fruity and malty aroma, mild cinnamon/cardemomme spice note too. A bit oxidised as well. Fruity and breadish dark flavour, on the dry side. Shows a bit of spice note again in the flavour towards the finish. Mild liqourice into the finish. Dry and with a little bite. Complex, yet nothing I would return too - too dry for my liking.

Jul 27, 2008 Of all the beers we special ordered from Belgianshop.com this was my neighbors favorite one...and I liked it very much too! Brown pour with a nice big head. Sugar, fruit, malt, molasses all in the aroma and flavor too. Very creamy and no hops to speak of. Nice beer, underrated as far as I am concerned.

Yeasty flavour with broth-notes.

May 28, 2008 Cloudy dark brown beer. Some caramel in the nose. Light brown head. Some hints of raisin in the taste.

May 20, 2008 Dark amber colour, Slightly sweet, malty aroma, Served a bit cold and so a little harsh. Very richly burnt caramel in the taste,
