I didn’t start drinking water until I ordered this one. Finished thin. I liked it enough but didn’t immediately think to get another. carruthm (1167), Seattle, Washington, USA

Aroma is chocolate dominant over coffee with a taste that is lightly bitter more like dark chocolate than roast coffee. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA

Seems like the brewer ccouldn’t decide whether to do a porter or a black IPA, so they compromised. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA

Medium to Full-bodied; Strong roasty flavour with a very nice taste. Aftertaste shows some coffee and chocolate with an overpowering malt. Overall, a great beer - definitely nice to try! Lots of chocolate and some roast notes in the aroma.
The flavor was mostly bitter-sweet chocolate with hints of coffee in the the finish. It was nicely balanced and very drinkable.
Very well made beer. I want more. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

Dark brown color, nice roasty flavors with a good malt and hops backing. Liked the coffee and chocolate flavor this gave off. A very nice beer.
