Bart (1625), Vosselaar, Belgium Apr 18, 2009 Hazy yellow coloured beer with almost no carbonation and a very small white head. Fruity bitter hoppy aroma, some sprankling medium to full palate. Finish is light bitter hoppy as well. Not bad but not overwhelming. Wim (1278), Turnhout, Belgium Apr 13, 2009 hazy yellow coloured body with a little white head a spicy fruity hoppy aroma a fruity hoppy herby taste with a hoppy bitter finish Yves (989), Beerse, Belgium Apr 13, 2009 Pale yellow coloured beer with small white head. Herby citrys aroma. Full palate. Finish is yeasty herby and bit spicy. caesar (3020), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands Mar 10, 2009 Bottled. Cloudy yellow golden color, short white head. Aroma of wheat, flowers, bit earthy. Slight sour taste, bit sweet. Not that bad actually. jerohen (1602), Bussum, Netherlands Dec 1, 2008 Bottled. Clear golden coloured, small dying head. Very spice nose, interesting. Very soapy flavour, lots of spices again, way off balance. Totally not my thing. And i’m a bit disappointed by those Smisje brews lately... BoBoChamp (1334), Gent, Belgium Jul 28, 2008 33cl, brew with elderflowers, recently retired beer, from De Hopduvel Gent, easy to drink, not complex, not balanced, cloudy, good head, nothing special thebeertourist (2750), Oslo, Norway Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy golden with some sediment and a small head. Potent tart fruity with hints of spices. Fruity flavours balanced by spices. Quite lively. Well-made and interesting as always from this brewery. beastiefan2k (1590), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Jun 4, 2008 The color is hazy yellow with some clarity but cannot see through the beer. Aroma has a lot of the Regenboog yeast dominance (brine-y fruit is really the best way I can describe it). Taste is similar but the strong carbonation seems to subdue the yeast flavors a little bit. Its very refreshing with light lemon and a seltzer-strong carbonation. This beer goes in a very different direction than most of the Regenboog beers, just tries to be light and refreshing. With the yeasty part the brine goes away and it becomes a lemon-fruit-yeast bomb. 33cl bottle, no date, from Bier Temple, in a De Neve tumbler.
