The aroma is sourdough bread, interesting hop profile. Doesn’t seem to have any flaws. The flavor is biscuity, nicely hoppy with grassy components showing the most. Moderate palate, sits well, nice balance. jtw (943), farmington, Michigan, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 1, 2006 nice light amber color, this bottle was an extra from TheBeerCellar2. very interesting aroma, malty initially but then some leafy hops are clearly in there. enjoyable, not too big but also a nice full beer. it doesn’t attempt to be more than what it is. thanks matt! mbeem (104), New Hope, Alabama, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 28, 2006 A good beer. Not as good as some of the other Terrapin offerings, but not bad. Pours a yellow-gold. Nose of hops and malt. Malt up front on the tongue the the hops burst in. No alcohol taste. The brewers at Terrapin are masters at masking the alcohol content in their beers!! nolankowal (854), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 23, 2006 Pours a orange-yellow/straw color with an off white head. Heavy malt aroma, some burnt spice and a bit of fruit. Flavor is sweet, caramel malt back with some nice dry bitterness and some light pineapple. Nice sturdy body...good amount of carbonation...finishes kinda flat and bitter. Overall, a spicy/bitter/sweet offering with a few quirks. A pretty good brew, but my least favorite offering from Terrapin. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA

Strong malts with sweet honey and spice leading into a push of earthy hops. Pours hazy golden with small head and decent lacing. Flavor is rich and smooth sweet malts with a touch of fresh hops. Palate is clean. Tasty brew, I wonder if it shines on tap? gputty (456), Virgina Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2006 From bottle thanks to Immy. Pours a light orange with thin white head. Nose is syrupy citrus and sugary at the same time. Flavor has a large malt component with light citrus. Palate is thick and lightly carbonated. Good. decaturstevo (2007), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 13, 2006 A hazy light orange pour. An aroma of slight corn at first and some spicy hints almost like nutmeg. No paper flavor at all but a rich malty flavor with a bit of a hops bitter finish. A good warm feeling with this beer. A good one. BigBastard (668), L.A., California, USA
