TheBeerCollector (548), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Nov 1, 2006 Another outstanding Terrapin Beer Company offering. Not quite as good as the other "Monster Tour" offerings but great in it’s own way. matt7215 (578), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Feb 15, 2008 Updated: Mar 8, 2008355 ml bottle from a trade with Degarth. pours a hazy orange with a small off white head. aromas are huge hops over bready malts with some alcohol. flavours are huge hops with a lovely pilsnerish malt structure. this is an amazing beer that shows more barley wine and IIPA characteristics then euro strong lager but given the intention of this brew id expect nothing else. very good brew, one of my favs! unclemattie (1637), Georgia, USA Oct 18, 2006 Updated: Dec 7, 2006I don’t know how I forgot to rate this beer!!! Hazy golden color. Foamy white head. spicy malt aroma. Lots of malt balanced with the right amount of HOPS. Nice bitter floral finish. PERFECT SUMMER SPECIAL! theshocker (328), Marietta, Georgia, USA Aug 17, 2006 Pale and clear. Just a touch darker than an ordinary pilsner. Huge white head, a mixture of fine and big bubbles, slowly fades down the glass leaving a sticky lacing. Hoppy, pleasing aroma. Spicey, earthy, with a touch of citrus. Full bodied, but surprisingly smooth. I almost wish it was a little more bitter. This beer just slid down my throat. BigBastard (669), L.A., California, USA Sep 5, 2006 I was pleasantly surprised with this. Malty, semi sweet with hints of pear and apple, some spice and vanilla. Crist and smooth, very good.
