Oct 21, 2007 Updated: Oct 27, 20072007 Bottle thanks to Uncle Jedi. Pour is a dark copper, almost brown. Small white head. Aroma of sweet malt and nice amouny of sticky hops. Pretty bitter and balanced. I get some "off" notes...metallic. I have a slight cold, so that may be throwing me off a bit. Medium mouthfeel and quite carbonated. Solid.

Oct 13, 2007 Poured a dark red with a very thin head. Has an amazing smooth simcoe hop aroma and taste. Hints of caramel, and hops. Finishes sweet and smooth.

Oct 13, 2007 Hugely sweet malt aroma. Wow, this smells big. Aroma is hoppy, malty in an ASA kind of way more than a DIPA way. Taste is big malty and sweet, but the piney, leafy hops definitely cut the sweetness. Very nice, but not what I was wanting or expecting.

Oct 12, 2007 Updated: Dec 3, 2007On draft. Apperance is a dark red with little carbonation and a medium off-white head. Nose is very hoppy with some citrus. Flavor is also very hoppy with some pine and citrus flavor, balanced well with malt. Mouthfeel is good with adequate carbonation. An excellent brew from Terripan.

Oct 12, 2007 12oz bottle thanks to CaptainCougar. Pours a rich and deep rusty red color with a standard-sized light tan head, the color of wheat bread dough. Inviting fruity hop nose, with notes of marachino cherries, blood oranges, sticky toasty malts and some fresh but light cedar. Texture is full and sticky, moderately frothy as well, with a crisp bite of snappy orange and cherry flavored hops, and a huge, heavy note of chewy, toasry Munich malts. Well made.

Oct 5, 2007 Deep red color with a small, off white head. Slight hop aroma with a bit of malts. Thick mouthfeel. Good flavor, not very strong, slightly hoppy finish with a nice malty balance. Very drinkable with no alcohol in the flavor. A nice ale.

Sep 30, 2007 Pours a garnet red, not really a DIPA as some places claim, very leafy hoppy nose, piney, grassy. very green. Crisp on the tongue, not too much going on, some brown sugar, alcohol is up front in the nose and palate, kinda chewy but a little thin, dissipating finish. Not bad.

Sep 30, 2007 Bottle. Thin frothy head. Extremely dark for a red. Aroma is rich with notes of mocha. Taste is like an orgasm in my mouth. No dont write that. Taste is dark, rich with almost perfect balance. Very smooth, bitter finish. Almost as good as Hop-Devil.
