Jul 27, 2006 All those crystal malts really come through in both the aroma and taste, as carmelly a iiPA as I’ve ever had,all the hops have a pretty hard time overcoming the malt profile, the hops you experience are mostly of a grainey floral type, the citrus of the cascade really doesn’t show.I liked it ,it was different

Jul 17, 2006 Hazy copper colour with a tan head. Malty, caramel sweet aroma with a hoppy grapefruit note. Hoppy fruity flavor with a light citric note and some malty sweetness.

Jul 16, 2006 via trade with aracauna - Pours a hazy deep copper color with a good size light tan head. Light lacing. Lots of sediment floating in the beer. Has a strong caramel malt and floral hop aroma. Flavor has some sweet malt esters to it. Not as bitter as I though it would be. Probably past its prime. Would have like to have tried a 2 month old bottle. Still, a good tasting beer. Thanks Jacob.

Jul 3, 2006 My thanks to Rob (RooftopRogue) for providing this along with a number of others I hadn’t tasted. Rob has been a great beer buddy since the start of my trek through beer. This was a reddish/copper with a nice beige head. The nose is smacked with hops: citrus, woody, floral hops. Caramel hops. Hops and more hops. And yet, it wasn’t a one-note drink. It had character. Depth. Good body and just the right carbonation. The flavor was thirst-quenching and refreshing. The hops blended well and there was a nice edge of sweetness along with the hops bitterness. A very, very well done beer.

Jun 26, 2006 Excellent color, very pleasing to the nose. Very thick "fruit punch" like palate with a dry residual hoppy finish.
Excellent beer.

Jun 17, 2006 Pours deep red with thing off white/tan head Aroma is maly and light citrus hops. Taste is sweet and thick, fruity and bitter. Finish is all hops. Bitter piney resiny hops. Amazing balance though. Good overall.

Jun 17, 2006 "Poured a nice amber color with okay head and good lacing throughout the beer. Aroma was of strong grapefruits. Flavor was of grapefruits, hops and pine. Very dry mouthfeel and nice and crisp. "

Jun 13, 2006 12oz bottle courtesy of Jason from Knightly Spirits. Pours a hazy dark red with a moderate beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, raisins, brown sugar, alcohol, dust, and stale bread. Flavor is full of the raisins and brown sugar sweetness, pine and resiny hops are strongest, bitter midway through and finishes dry, with hardly any bitterness. Alcohol well hidden. Full bodied, light carbonation, excellent lacing. My head is just a creamy film about 2/3 through. Very good.
