Apr 23, 2006 A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is super hoppy combined with ligth notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet with strong notes of both caramel and hops. A nice hoppy monster.

Nov 23, 2006 Bottled, thanks Immy! Clear dark amber, rich dense head. Hoppy estery pineapple and grapefruit aroma. Sweet and caramelly with near full body. The hops hide in a sea of spun sugar and caramel. More hop aroma than bitterness in the finish.

Dec 11, 2005 Reddish-brown colour with a rich head. Aroma is big mandarin hops with cedar and floral soaps and woody malt notes. Well-balanced. I like when that’s the first thing I notice. The hops are largely aromatic as the beer comes across fairly sweet. Orangey, floral hops drench the beer but never does it get resiny. One of the more refreshing beers in the upper mid-strength category. An interesting take on a concept that has thankfully proven to be fairly open-ended. Thanks to aracauna for the bottle!
