“With its golden hue and gentle complexity, the Terrapin Golden Ale brings refreshing to a whole new level. Its combination of flavor, smoothness and drinkability is difficult to find in most craft beers. Sometimes even hopheads like us want nothing more than to enjoy a beer that is crisp, smooth and refreshing. That is why we created the perfect session beer - the Terrapin Golden Ale.”

Clear golden color. Slight toasty aroma and an unexpected hard candy sort of smell as well. Crisp and clean flavor. The creaminess comes through in the flavor a bit. Also some doughy types of flavors and a little bit of citrus fruit.

This beer is 3 shades lighter than the picture!! Faded yellow color, fizzy head. Bready and crackery nose. Empty flavor with a touch of dough and a tinge of spicy hop.

Hazy dark straw color with wispy dirty white head. Nose of creamed corn and vanilla. Flavor is lightly grainy and grassy in the finish. Pleasant and very drinkable. One of the better cream ales I’ve had.

12 oz. bottle. Clear, golden color. Thin, white head. Light body, a bit watery. Aroma of light hops and some grain. Flavor is a bit of sweet malts. Finish has a bit of a bite. Definitely easy drinking.

Golden color (no pun intended), very thin head that dissapates very quickly. Its a drinkable beer. I wouldnt buy a 6 pack though. Bitter end by the way.

12oz bottle, aroma is of a malty sweetness, that lends nicely to an easy drinking ale, nothing special here, but i must admit it is quite refreshing...

This is a lager-like cream ale with a light golden color and thinner head out of the bottle. It is a very smooth beer, little aftertaste, but also not a lot of depth. It has a mildly grainy taste, not unpleasant, with a tint of citrus. It tastes better than the Gennie Cream Ale I remember from my youth and fits the "beer to drink when thirsty" category. That said, it is not one that I will add to my regular rotation.
