| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2008 This is a lager-like cream ale with a light golden color and thinner head out of the bottle. It is a very smooth beer, little aftertaste, but also not a lot of depth. It has a mildly grainy taste, not unpleasant, with a tint of citrus. It tastes better than the Gennie Cream Ale I remember from my youth and fits the "beer to drink when thirsty" category. That said, it is not one that I will add to my regular rotation. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 6, 2008 I am quite sure that I have rated this beer before, but the website did not take the rating. Anyways, the beer has a nice light gold, but SLIGHTLY orange color. Nice thin head tops the beer off. The beer looks good. I have brewed a cream ale before, and personally I thought it looked better than this, but I am not here to brag. The beer smells somewhat lager like. A real pale malt smell comes out in the nose. Very subtle hop aroma. If you keep sniffing you will eventually get the aroma of hops. Fairly pungent beer. The beer has a pilsner-like taste to it. Very reminiscent of a pilsner actually. Has a funky pale taste to it. Not a very creamy beer. The beer actually is on the bit watered-down side. Overall, not one of Terrapins best. If they are attempting a pilsner they should go back a re-formulate, but this beer does have a nice look and smell. daknole (3025), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma is very grainy and full of cereal notes. Flavor is pretty much the same. Not that it is bad, but not great either. I would drink this again if I had to, but I would never seek it out. sayravai (3772), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2008 (Bottled) Slightly hazy golden with a very small head. Very aromatic, herby-birchy nose with lavender notes. Aromatic-hoppy, quite flowery-lavendery flavor with some grassy bitterness and also slightly vegetably toffee notes. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. A quite decent and drinkable, aromatic session beer. Skinnyviking (4171), Copenhagen, Denmark
