Commercial Description:
“With its golden hue and gentle complexity, the Terrapin Golden Ale brings refreshing to a whole new level. Its combination of flavor, smoothness and drinkability is difficult to find in most craft beers. Sometimes even hopheads like us want nothing more than to enjoy a beer that is crisp, smooth and refreshing. That is why we created the perfect session beer - the Terrapin Golden Ale.”

Pale yellow, somewhat foamy head. Small chunks of sediment floating around. Flavor is mild malts, a bit of soap, some grassy hops. Smooth on the palate, light bodied. Pretty average, "a micro for the macro lovers".

Pours a clear lemon gold with thing white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is grassy, straw and toasted wheat. Flavor is almost a stale sweetness mixed with a note of bitterness at the end. Light creamy body with light carbonation. the isn’t anything to write home about.

Bottle 355ml.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, straw, toasted, keller. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, and a washcloth note finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (140608)

Bottle. Weak fruity aroma, hint of tea. Clear golden colour, almost no head. The flavour is quite subtle, slightly teaish. Medium bitterness. A bit boring.

Hmmm, I don’t know what to say about this one. Perfectly servicable beer, but with a name like "Cream Ale", I expected it to be...well, creamy. This beer was more or less a craft version of a macro. It was nice, smooth, finished good. Terrapin describes it as a session beer, and it probably would be very good at that, I just was a little let down because it was not what I expected it to be. Maybe that’s my fault.

Flaske. Pilsnergul øl uden det store skumhoved. Karboneringen er også forholdsvis flad. Gætter på at det bestemt ikke er en frisk udgave jeg står med. Smagen er diskret og lidt flad i det. Meget kedelig øl.

Bottle from kp. Thanks! Was a golden tone with no head. See picture to left. Aroma is light with some sweetness. Light grainy sweet flavor with a crisp finish. Not much here but a thirst quencher. I did like it more than the imperial pils however.
