“With its golden hue and gentle complexity, the Terrapin Golden Ale brings refreshing to a whole new level. Its combination of flavor, smoothness and drinkability is difficult to find in most craft beers. Sometimes even hopheads like us want nothing more than to enjoy a beer that is crisp, smooth and refreshing. That is why we created the perfect session beer - the Terrapin Golden Ale.”

Taste 7/8 (bottle Date7/8) Looks: Golden body/ thin white head. Aroma: Grain, caramel, a little toasted barley. Nice sour. Taste: Nice sour and malt combination. Sour, mild crispness; with a decent malt thickness. Good.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with a small head. Grainy aroma. Sweet and malty flavours. Disappointing.

12 oz bottle. Poured clear pale gold in color with a large white frothy head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pale malts, with a slight bit of fruit. Tastes of malts, fruits, with very little hops. Smooth but thin mouth feel. eh.

Bottle at Chris_O’s 19th April 2008 tasting. Golden and fizzy with a stale, buttery aroma. Tastes contaminated to be frank but is mercifully light on the tongue, with the flavour passing swiftly. Only drink to be able to tick off the Cream Ale style.

Bottle at the Rake, Borough Market area, Lahndan tahn 21-06-08 in the company of Duff, Ang and Wrenbird ? Clinical looking beer light amber, tiny white rim of bubles, tastes soft some cardboard, little in way of hops or much else for that matter, nothing special I’m afraid.

Botella. Clear golden. Sweetish aroma of malt and some fruit. Rather thin mouthfeel. The flavour is a bit sweet with some fruits and malt along with a mild hoppiness.

Bottle labeled as Golden Ale. Golden colored, not much head or lacing. Aroma is of sweet fruits, a little grainy and wheaty. Smooth, sweet, citrus fruity flavor with some hops and very refreshing. Light-bodied and clean. Resembles a nice summer wheat beer. Nothing outstanding but I thought it was pretty good.
