Commercial Description:
“With its golden hue and gentle complexity, the Terrapin Golden Ale brings refreshing to a whole new level. Its combination of flavor, smoothness and drinkability is difficult to find in most craft beers. Sometimes even hopheads like us want nothing more than to enjoy a beer that is crisp, smooth and refreshing. That is why we created the perfect session beer - the Terrapin Golden Ale.”

A deep golden pour with a hint of read. Very light white head. An aroma of light malt and a slight wet paper aroma that reminds me of a lager. A flavor that though not bad is rather bland. Like a turkey sandwich with no mayo. The bitter is decent and a bit of a surprise. A beer I could drink often.

Clear golden color. Nice ale taste with some fruity undertones and no bitterness. A dandy ale to have with dinner or to sip during a sporting event.

I guess the golden and the cream are the same... I was under the impression that it was an American Pale... Nice crisp, citrusy hop finish mostly grapefruit flavors. It must be cascade or something similar. Nice refreshing and a good session ale.

Pours a beautiful gold color with very little head. The head dissapated quickly leaving a small lacy ring on the glass.Heavy corn aroma and flavor.A nice clean fresh beer. The finish lingered a bit longer than I like.

I have to rate this beer higher than others have, its really tasty. Terrapin rocks, and is the best brewer in the South, everything I’ve had from them is very well-conceived and this is no different.

12 oz bottle from TheBeerCellar2. Pours a slighty hazy gold with a small head and medium to low carbonation. Mild fruity taste with vanilla notes. Unfortunately, the corn flavor is noticeable. Not a big fan of this style, but overall not bad, especially on a hot day.

Bottle courtesy of TheBeerCellar2. Thanks! Pours a clear gold iwht a fading white head. Aroma of bread and grassy hops. Creamy medium body with medium carbonation. Caramel and vanilla flavor. Clean finish. Massively sessionable.

Not as hoppy as expected. Very smooth with creamy texture. First terrapin beer. Not alot of carbonation. Fruity, light bodied. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.
