You’ve all had these generic golden ale’s before and this one pretty much falls in line with the rest of them. I understand why breweries make these and because they exist, I feel the need to rate them. Unfortunately, I rarely really enjoy them. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 18, 2006 Bottle, labeled Golden Ale. Moderately sweet flavor. Oily and syrupy palate, with medium carbonation levels. Tasty, mildly hoppy, crisp, with flavors of honey, straw and wheat. Smells more of corn, but doesn’t really have any corn in the flavor. OK stuff, nothing great. unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 15, 2006 Bottle from beer swap: hazy gold in color with a small white head. Aroma was yeasty, some spice, and a bit grassy, some breadiness as well. Flavor, light bodied, lemonysome moderate carbonation. Very mediocre. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2006 Sampled at Music City Brewers Festival as "Golden Ale". Pours golden with white head. Pale malt, sweet biscuit, and faint citrus aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet and grassy with a fairly decent malt backbone. Clean refreshing finish. This is quite good for thirst quenching beer. Much better than drinking macro swill. kimcgolf (832), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 11, 2006 Poured to a golden yellow, with thin white head that dissipated quickly, and left little lacing. Aroma was hard to palce, although I did get faint hints of creamy malt. Taste was likewise hard to distunguish, some malt, some hops, not much of anything. Sorry, but nothing special about this one. Best thing I can say is that I will drinkl agian before many macros, but well after many other beers I have rated. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Golden pour, with some aroma of pale malts, hopcitrus, slight lemongrass. Light on the palate, with some creamy malty and citrus flavors. wabisabi (1), Atlanta, Georgia, USA does not count | 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Jun 23, 2006 Thin head. Overly fizzy. Bland tasting beer. I expected more from Terrapin. I might as well have bought Bud.
