Commercial Description:
“With its golden hue and gentle complexity, the Terrapin Golden Ale brings refreshing to a whole new level. Its combination of flavor, smoothness and drinkability is difficult to find in most craft beers. Sometimes even hopheads like us want nothing more than to enjoy a beer that is crisp, smooth and refreshing. That is why we created the perfect session beer - the Terrapin Golden Ale.”

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow color. Not much head. Aroma reminded me of Millier Lite. Taste made me wish it was a Miller Lite. Just okay but it really did seem like a light beer. Not what I expected. Kind of a weak offering from a pretty good brewery.

Poured gold with a white head. Aroma of....? Watery with some caramel. Light and slamable.

A nice little beer. Can drink 20 without even noticing, with the light flavor of a pils, but with with too little hops. Extra credit for the awesome kayaking turtle on the label. A great beer for the uninitiated.

Good refreshing beer, clean flavor, sophisticated but not overwhelming. Good beer for a hot day because of smooth drinkability. Doesnt taste like corn, dont worry, mildly sweet though. Good overall though, but not special. Give it a try during the day, maybe with sn outside lunch.

Bottle @ chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008. Pours a slighlty hazy pale golden color with a small white head. Has a sweetish malty bready and slightly yeasty aroma with some grassy hints. Sweetish malty slighlty hoppy flavor. Has a sweetish malty fruity hoppy finish.

Pours with small white head, color is pale yellow not really gold. Aroma is grass, and light citrus. Taste well,... it is lightly creamy (but medium body) tasting, taste of corn, citrus, and some bitterness. Overall, I’m not very impressed at all. Reminds me of a creamy Budweiser or something (not good).

Creamy flavor, light sweet. Not bitter at all... wonderful palate, Golden honey flavor. very slight bitter... slight citrus... strong sweet... slight malty. Not bad at all... for a light beer.
