| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 12, 2009 This rating is averaged from from two bottles in the same mix-pack. Golden as promised, teeming with weightless motes. Fleeting soapsud head. The first bottle exhibited a toasty/grainy nose, redolent with "mixed fruit" jelly and sultanas… and a huge bucket of briney steamed oysters. Second bottle smelt of diacetyl, salt, and lychee. Bottle one: minerally flavor, corn, buttered white bread, some blackberry... pretty bland. Bottle two was similar, with richer malt and also a soapy taste. Both were surprisingly full-bodied and gritty... the second had a much tarter finish and aftertaste. Although nothing was drastically wrong with either bottle, nothing excited me... I am neutral about bottle two, but bottle one was downright yucky. cheapdark (2050), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 4, 2009 This beer does not look anything like the glass of beer pictured on this URL. Looks like a pale lager but it has some very interesting precipitants in there. Little flecks of stuff that neither floats nor sinks, just hanging out in there. Slightly bitter but acceptable for an ale. Comes across almost like a bitter pilsner of sorts. On the taste and on the finish. TGA S4L3F3T5010 Beerman6686 (1310), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 26, 2008 This poured a lot lighter than the picture, a clear pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma was a tiny bit hop, some sweet notes, nothing too surprising. Taste is pretty bland but not watery, smooth malty and sweetness, not a bad lwanmower beer. Paul150 (37), , Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 25, 2008 On tap at Terrapin Brewery. Has a medium amber color with a slight hop aroma. Taste is relatively simple with some citrus notes, but not simple in a bad way. Beer does feel a little bit thin, but for this style, I did not mind. biznizness (956), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Quite bland and boring. I would only reach for this if I was looking for a bland, boring ale. That actually does happen sometimes, when Im not looking to get my fire lit too much. MrBunn (1561), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 14, 2008 Bottle. Pour is a clear gold with little head and aromas of honey malt with a touch of floral hops. Flavor is honey sweet with sidenotes of pear, apple and a little bit of citrus. It is not very interesting, but it is not bad, either. This is pleasant enough and goes down easy. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2008 Bottle from World of Beer, Clearwater, FL.
Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hops aroma. Medium body and lively carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Above average beer that was good for style.
