"India Style Brown Ale - 6% ABV. A head on collision of a hoppy, west coast IPA and a complex, malty brown ale...basically an IPA with a roasty backbone.”

Bottled@SBWF2008. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet hops, wood and some mild nectary notes. Flavour is very much the same. Rather sweet fruity and nectary aftertaste.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Brownish amber, creamy head. Aroma of blood, metal and chocolate. Medium sweet with rough mushy mouthfeel. Above medium bodied with some molasses and a rough resiny bitterness.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A red-brown beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of grass, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices and chocolate, leading to a dry nutty finish. The flavor is a bit light.

An interesting mix of a traditional brown ale and an IPA. Poured to a reddish-brown with tan head, reminiscent of a brown ale, but the nose was roasted malted nuts and wood, infused with a hint of citrusy hops. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and alternated between slightly sweet and bitter. Taste was mostly the malty flavors, but with a slight aftertaste of citrus. An interesting beer, but for my money, I’d rather have either a brown ale or IPA, not both at once.

what a nice suprise. I assumed this was a brown ale. Nice and hoppy. Looks like a brown ale, but smells and tastes like an IPA with a big malt backing. over all a nice brew.

12oz bottle in a trade with TURDFERGUSON, thank you Sam. Beautiful looking beer, dark reddish/brown, with an off-white head. Nice little hoppy aroma with a bit of roasted malt in there as well. Decent flavor, good hop bite. pretty good beer.
