"India Style Brown Ale - 6% ABV. A head on collision of a hoppy, west coast IPA and a complex, malty brown ale...basically an IPA with a roasty backbone.”

Reddish brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, sweet malt and citrus hops. Taste of citrus hops, light brown sugar, roasted malt, nuts. Decently balanced with a mild bitter nutty finish.

what a nice suprise. I assumed this was a brown ale. Nice and hoppy. Looks like a brown ale, but smells and tastes like an IPA with a big malt backing. over all a nice brew.

12oz bottle in a trade with TURDFERGUSON, thank you Sam. Beautiful looking beer, dark reddish/brown, with an off-white head. Nice little hoppy aroma with a bit of roasted malt in there as well. Decent flavor, good hop bite. pretty good beer.

From TheBeerCellar via trade. The pour was an attractive mahogany color with a short tan head that produced average lacing. The aroma is roasted malt and piney hops. The flavor was dramatic shift between sweet roasted malts up front and harsh pine hops on the backside. A tad out of whack in terms of balance on this one but an interesting effort. The mouthfeel was on the thin side.

Pours a clear dark brown with an off white head. Very nice aroma of piney citricusy hops. Very clean taste, with a bit of hops up front but lacking something in the malt character.

Slighty cloudy brown pour, white head arises. Rather floral aroma. Some sweet malt, more light citrus and bitter hops. Would have liked to have tasted more malt, caramel, nut. Clean finish, more of a pale ale in my opinion. Compared to the other "india brown" I’ve had, which is the dogfish head, it’s not even close. Not bad at all though.
