Looks like a brown ale, but smells and tastes like an IPA with a big malt backing. over all a nice brew. Hophead22 (1106), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA

The pour was an attractive mahogany color with a short tan head that produced average lacing. The aroma is roasted malt and piney hops. The flavor was dramatic shift between sweet roasted malts up front and harsh pine hops on the backside. A tad out of whack in terms of balance on this one but an interesting effort. The mouthfeel was on the thin side. undsioux7 (561), Cologne, Minnesota, USA

Very clean taste, with a bit of hops up front but lacking something in the malt character. grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2008 Slighty cloudy brown pour, white head arises. Rather floral aroma. Some sweet malt, more light citrus and bitter hops. Would have liked to have tasted more malt, caramel, nut. Clean finish, more of a pale ale in my opinion. Compared to the other "india brown" I’ve had, which is the dogfish head, it’s not even close. Not bad at all though.
