Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.
Now available in bottles.

Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma is pretty strong of rye, caramel malts, citrus hops, and some slight floral hops. Flavor is the same but a little sweeter then I was expecting.

Slugged this playing gold in Myrtle Beach. A hoppy pale ale. Some rye and citrus. Pretty tasty.

Bottle thanks to TheBeerSommelier. Pours a cloudy light brown with a small white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, caramel malt, and a touch of rye. Flavor of sweet caramel malt and a finish of grainy rye. A tasty pale ale with a nice, subtle touch of rye. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

Bottle. Aroma of rye bread, citrus, and what smells to me like candi sugar??? Flavor again quite rye including the appropriate spicy graininess that should come with it. Probably the second most truly rye tasting beer I’ve had. Aside from the rye though, there’s not a whole lot going on in the mouth, just some balancing bittering hops. Not a ton of body either, something just seems missing behind the rye front. Pretty good though despite my vague complaining.

On tap at the Terrapin 7th Anniversary. Can’t believe I hadn’t rated this sooner. Pours a golden color with a whispy white head. Aromas of hops, rye and some lemon. Flavors are strong hops and rye with a nice sweetness and a dry finish.

Bottle. Clear gold and small head. Floral hop aroma and yes, hints of rye. Sweet hop flavor and rye aren’t blended perfectly, but gives it a good grain flavor and texture. Medium bodied, solid brew.

Copper color with a small white head that settles down quickly. Aroma is rather clean with some grapefruit hops, citrus fruits and maybe a touch of maltiness.Citrus hops aroma - similar pine/citrus flavor but with a malty finish
