Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.

Smells a bit dusty/musty...like an old book. Pours a dark yellow/orange with a clingy head, but not great. Flavor is heavy of rye and grain, a touch of piny hops showing through.Has an almost bandaid mustiness in the finish thats not so enjoyable.

12oz bottle from total wine in greenville. pours a clear, pale gold with a very thin white head a minimal lacing. aroma is very floral, with notes of sunflower and rose, with hints of orange and lemon zest, and a bit of light malt sweetness. flavor is very crisp and clean with light citrus and floral flavors, light malts, caraway seeds, and a mild spice note on the finish. palate is on the lighter side, with good balance, and solid carbonation. overall, a very solid, refreshing beer.

Golden color with a slight bite to it. Okay, glad to have tried, but won’t need to buy again.

Thanks daknole. Pours a clear pale copper amber with a large, sticky, off-white head. Floral hops aroma mingled with bread crusts. Tasty, but to me the abundant hops aren’t harmonized well with the sourdough bread malt backbone. Medium body, soft and foamy on the palate.

Tested including Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Bass Pale Ale, and Terraping Rye Pale Ale. Pours a slightly light copper color with nice head. Aroma of nice kinda floral hops and caramel malt. Taste- I guess of rye(new flavor to me), has an "earthy?" taste, malty, bitter hops. Overall- It’s pretty good, it has the biggest flavor of the 3, and the best aroma. It’s the most bitter of the 3. I give this 2st place because it’s not quite a balanced as Sierra.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a firm white head. Not as much Rye aroma as the squared, lots of grapefruit. Nicely floral and bitter, rye and caraway.
