Citrus hop aroma, bready notes. The taste is not as citrusy as aroma would indicate. Grainy malt backbone. Citrus hop kick at the start, finishes more towards the bitter. Clean, crisp mouthfeel. My first brew from Terrapin, won’t be my last. ortenzil13 (4), USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 26, 2008 I think this beer is pretty average. Its not too dry or heavy so I can dig drinking a couple. In comparison to standard craft brewed six packs(which is about what it is in NC) that run around $8-9 it’s fine by me, but it’s nothing to get excited about. GG (1640), NorCal, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 26, 2008 This might suffer in comparison to my beloved WC beers, but honestly I gave it a fair shake and it’s an average pale ale. It’s weakness (at least in this beer) was the fact it was lemony pine-sol in the nose which was a bit let down. I never got any rye in either the nose or the flavor, soooo this is just a regular pale ale. Aroma is lemony, pine-sol, lightly sweetened. Appearance is a medium orange in color with a big three finger thick head. Mouthfeel is too carbonated for my liking. Flavor just doesn’t have enough juicy, fruity malts for my tastes. Lemony, slighty floral and a touch spicy (maybe that’s the rye?). In the end, it’s not bad and I could drink one again. Nothing really special though. Bov (5455), Bienne, Switzerland

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2008 12oz bottle. All the hoppy, floral characteristics of an American Pale Ale, but with a mellowing, nutty malt finish that creates great balance. Full of flavor while remaining crisp and refreshing. Great session beer. Copper-orange color.
