Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.

Bottled. Clear golden colour with a patchy white head. Very clean, citrus hop aroma. Much stronger flavour of piney, sweet, grapefruity hops and very light bitterness. Clean finish. Nice mild APA.

Aroma is strongly of hops... some pine, resin, and grapefruit for sure. the hops really dominate the aroma. poured an almost golden color with ample carbonatoin and two inches of head that were there to stay. flavor was also dominated by hops, resin pine and grapfruit again, slight rustic earthy flavor. palate was light. Good beer for a hot day... too bad I had it in the middle of winter.

Pours a beautiful clear honey color with a very, very thin white head of moderate bubbles. Not much of a nose to it. A faint smell of citrus and malt. Tastes great. You can really taste the rye and other grains in this brew. This is my favorite rye beer yet. Pretty standard mouthfeel, thin, well carbonated. This beer is great, very drinkable. Decent alcohol.

Beautiful gold color. Light but nice hoppy aroma, fruity (Cascade). Quite thin mouthfeel, with some dry toffee flavor, but a very good hopping, resiny, dry. Good thirstquencher.

I found this to be one hell of a session beer. Very nice and refreshing. Hazy orange with a nice head. Smells hoppy with some grapefruit and a touch of the rye malt coming out. Mmmmm... very nice balance of hops and malt. Still nice and hoppy but the malt definitely has a presence as well. This brewery is really impressing me with its offerings so far. One of my new favorite sessions here. I seem to have liked this more than most but I thought it was really good.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Huntersville, NC. Pours a nice amber/bold gold color with a light head. Aroma is lightly rye, hops, very faint citrus. Taste is sharp from the rye used, finished clean. Not too keen on this, but good nonetheless.

Bottle poured a clear orange with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of rye, earthiness, light pine and a hint of grapefruit rind. Palate was medium bodied aqnd crisp. Flavors of rye bread, light earthiness and a light hint of grapefruit rind with a crisp moderatly bitter finish. A very enjoyable session beer!

Great beer... hoppy aroma, above average appearance. Good malt balance at the end. Hoppy and malty at the same time. I guess that’s the rye. I have a rye based homebrew going right now and I hope it turns out this good.
