| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear light copper with a small lasting white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of malted rye, citrus hops, mango, and light floral hops. Taste is rye up front then lends its way to sweet malt and citrus. Medium mouthfeel that finishes dry and spicy. I love rye in my beer and this is one of my favorites. benclarkiii (73), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

I didn’t tell you yet how I like the taste of rye, it’s in my European genes. Big headed, well hopped pale with good prominent rye taste. A nice one. Neutral aroma, on the hoppy side.

Aroma is of citrus hops with a detection of malt. Flavor is sweetened with hops, touch of citrus and a big malty profile. Smooth with a nice palate. Good Pale Ale I wish was available around here in six-packs.
