Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.
Now available in bottles.

This was way better than I expected any pale ale could be (I still haven’t had Dale’s). It has a great hop smell and taste that lasts forever. It’s sweet and smooth. One bottle is not enough. Whole Foods.

Relatively weak, but nice aroma of rich caramel, orange, and grapefruit rind. Hazy amber with floaties, medium white head. Weak grapefruit flavor. Watery mouthfeel. Explosive malt, lemon grass, and hay finish. It really pops. Immensely sessionable and a good beer for converting your AMC guzzling friends.

Had this from a bottle @ The Pizza Joint in downtown Augusta after paying tribute to the Godfather of Soul. Thanks to Ana and Raymond and of course to my baby Lacey for the great food and good company. Nose of pine, citrus, & spice - smells very fresh. Pours a sparkling clear golden. The tall stiff creamy white head leaves fairly good lace. The brew has great balance in the front with moderate acidity, and a long spicy burnt bitterness at the finish. The medium body is soft, dry and feels mildly astringent at the finish. My first brew from GA I think, and I could have done alot worse.

Cloudy yellow with a nice head. Citrus and pine aroma. I didn’t notice any rye in the taste. Mostly malt with a hop finish. OK but nothing special.

Pours alittle hazy gold with thick head. Aromas of grass citrus and malt. Tastes grassy grapefruit and a sweet rye yeast and malt. Bitter finish that last a while. Medium body.

Bottle courtesy of BeerHawk. Pours clear dark gold with a one finger white head that leaves spotty lacing. The nose is malt and light citrus. The taste is caramel malt, tart citrus and light rye in the finish. Medium bodied. Good APA. Thanks Steve!
