Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.
Now available in bottles.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a moderate white top, very nice lacing. Moderately bitter with little sweetness to offset. Nice aftertaste. Richer than I expected.

Weak aroma, almost non existant. Very rich orange color with almost no head at all. Light hopped flavor with a slightly fishy aftertaste. When I say fishy, I don’t mean that it is bad, it just has a very slight fishy taste to it, but is almost fitting with the beer. Overall, a decent brew, somewhat refreshing and smooth.

Draft at capones. Pours a hazy golden copper body with an off white head. Floral hoppy citrus with a nice rye balance, very session-able and a nice way to start lunch.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Greens Discount Beverage - Atlanta (Buford Hwy), 5/19/09

Aroma: Floral, rye, citrus, some earthiness and just a little spice
Appearance: A mostly clear orange color, with a this white head that dissipates quickly
Flavor: Similar to the nose, but the rye is more pronounced, a decent hoppy flavor here, and a nice balance from the rye malt
Palate: A little light, but lasts well, and drinks nicely.
Overall Impression: I liked this one, a nice well-balanced beer

Was an ok rye beer. the rye was really over powering and had a wet grassy nose to it. May have been the food I ate before hand but was expecting a little more .

12oz Bottle: Clear orange gold pour w/ a small biege head. Great peppery, floral hop aroma. Light bready, toasted malt & grapefruity hops. A tad on the thin side, but very well balanced. Leaves a sweet aftertaste behind. Pretty good.

This is a very floral pale ale with a considerable amount of pepper coming from the rye addition to the grain bill. With a light, clean malt sweetness, it has a considerably wide palate for the style.
