| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 22, 2009 My Bottom Line:
Toffee-laden bready malts and berry fruitiness ride this Scotch Ale’s peaceful effervescence for a delicate sipping experience.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the dark burgundy.
-This doesn’t have enough body for my tastes in the style.
-Menthol allusions are found in the flavor profile.
-The nose is lightly earthy and perhaps smoky.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Bomber. Pours a deep dark amber/brown with a foamy one finger tan head. The nose is light chocolate, roasted nuts, caramel and molasses. The taste is faint smoky peat, toffee, cocoa and nuts. Medium, semi-creamy mouthfeel. Not bad, better than the Hoppin Frog Scotch I just had. MaltOMeal (652), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA
