Feb 22, 2009 22oz bottle from Five Points Bottle Shop (Athens, GA). Pours a dark brown to black color with a one finger tan head that settles slowly. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, some hints of caramel and toffee. Flavor is roasted and malty with notes of dark ripe fruit, chocolate, coffee, caramel, roasted malt. Generally light to medium body with a roasted malt finish. Seemed a little thin for the style.

Feb 20, 2009 Pours a dark brown/black that allows light. The head is one finger thick cream tan. The nose is earthy, sweet, sweet chocolate, less bitter chocolate, malty, English feel, little roast. The flavor is mild and roasty, chocolate, sweet, no bitterness or roast, tastes English with sweet chocolate. Smooth on the palate with no bitterness.

Feb 17, 2009 Draft @ Redlight Redlight. Dark red-brown. Theres alot of chocolate in this one, aroma and flavor. A bit light bodied, with an easy finish. A touch one-dimensional on the whole.
