Pours a dark brown to black color with a one finger tan head that settles slowly. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, some hints of caramel and toffee. Flavor is roasted and malty with notes of dark ripe fruit, chocolate, coffee, caramel, roasted malt. Generally light to medium body with a roasted malt finish. Seemed a little thin for the style.
