Commercial Description:
The Terrapin ""Dos Cocoas"" gets its name from the deep history of chocolate and the two forms of Ecuadorian cocoa we use in this exceptional beer. Brewed with 100% cocoa powder, and aged on a bed of pure cocoa nibs, the chocolate flavor in this beer is so mouth watering it will even make Wonka jealous.

Big thanks to markwise. Brown-black pour, open tan head, nice retention but essentially no lacing. Aroma mostly roasted with a definite alcohol component, a bit of chocolate on the nose. Flavor roasted malt, a lot of figs and cola. Muted chocolate flavors, some vinous character. Feels thin bodied, but carbonation makes for a lively palate.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and some vanilla. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt and chocolate as well as some notes of sweet malt and wood, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Bottle from Kingdom Liquors. Poured dark brown color with an average brown creamy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted chocolate malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet milk chocolate flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Good sweet porter.

Solid black thick foamy light brown head. Aroma is sweet caramel and fruit. Taste is the same, some chocolate flavor and not much bitterness at all. Thin body, not that bad though.
