Smells of honey, citrus, wheat, spice, bananas, clove. Tastes of honey and sweet caramel with lots of spicy hints. This is a very well balanced easy drinking beer with a nice warming alcohol bite coming through from the honey and some peppery splashes on the finish. More braggot than barleywine. nathan30533 (158), Dahlonega, Georgia, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 26, 2009 Poured a hazed light amber color with a white head. The aroma was sweet and fruity. Notes of banana and clove. Wheaty lemon with some notes of bubble gum. The flavor contained banana and a lighter clove than the aroma. Especially on the finish. Medium bodied with a semi-dry finish. Warming sensation in the chest. I was surprised by the actually weiss character this had. I did not expect it and it worked well for me. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA

It’s sweet and malty with a clove and banana note as well as notes of wheat. Medium bodied and smooth. timsilvia32 (447), from Michigan now in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 22, 2009 22 oz. Gold pour, thin white head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, slight caramel malt. Very sweet, red fruits, banana, honey/sugary flavor. Somewhat sticky, but pretty light bodied. Like a sparkling ale or something. Finishes lingering sweetness, but not very pleasant. Second wheat wine I’ve had, did not care for this. Wish I would have shared this, I did not feel like finishing the bottle. Not sure it was worth trying for the $8 price tag. jrmac (213), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Wow, this was one super thick brew. A lot of flavors going on and a whole lot of alcohol. This beer was undrinkable upon opening. I let it settle down in the fridge for day or so and it made a big improvement. A lot more fruit seemed to be showing after that. Not my style. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Pours a hazy bright orange light amber with a thin head. Aroma is wheat- doughy sweet but a bit off- light dms, sharp and lightly metallic and even some olive juice salty brine with some smoked meats. Flavor is lightly sweet - wheat, crystal malt, and some nuts, more solvent and paint thinner- harsh sharp sweetness and alcohol- salty brine and more smoked meats- dry crackery finish. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Hazy honey/amber pour with viscous body and slight head. Clovey spiced and yeasty to smell, with a similar spiced caramel sweet flavor. Candied honey sweetness is the principal element, but the latent spice and fruit qualities finish of the taste. Hides the strength quite well.
