Lightly hazy dark amber body with a white head. The aroma was pears and cinnamon with some musk. The taste was leathery with some must and moss. There was also bread crust and black pepper in the dry finish. This about made me gag. Fairly nasty.

Bottle shared by CapFlu from Oakes. Foggy amber/peach with a nice white head. Aroma is a light alcohol, dried fruit, honey, bubblegum, candy. Taste is very sweet malt, with honey, tea, light alcohol, bubblegum, wheat.

This beer is pretty. This beer has a sweet aroma. It’s not all honey though. It has fruit in it. Then you taste it and there’s a bit of pepper to go with all the banana bread with honey crust. This beer warms you with alcohol but is not unpleasantly hot. I think I could drink this beer a lot and enjoy it a lot. Good job Terrapin.

From a bomber this poured a golden amber color with a small foamy white head that receded quickly to a small film. The aroma shows tons of sweetness from honey, candy sugar, and hints of bubblegum. Some hops and wheat float around as well. The honey and candy sugar dominate the flavor and doesn’t let the wheat come through like I was hoping. The carbonation tries to balance things out, but it is still sticky and sweet to the point of being cloying. This is definitely not what I was hoping for from this one. Just too sweet and too much honey. Disappointed with this one.

I almost poured this into a hefeweizen glass before I saw the abv. This was sweet like a wheaty belgian... good brew.

22 oz bottle purchased from Midtown Wine and Spirits in Nashville. Poured a hazy gold color, like something you would expect from a Hefeweizen., with a two finger white head. The aroma was sweet, with honey notes, and some spices that I can’t place. The flavor was sweet as well. The honey was present, but the alcohol didn’t show through like you might expect from an 11%er. I thought this was an OK stab at a different beer. Less sweetness, more hops and a little more warming from the alcohol and this would’ve been very good.

Bottle on 11/29/2008 with Kinz. Somewhat hazy copper body with a small frothy white head. Big wheat aroma, some light banana notes, a bit of honey and some alcohol. More wheat, light banana hints, light caramel and honey, and some alcohol in the background. Medium full body with moderately low carbonation and alcohol warming.

A pour of this beer produces a hazy gold body with a thin fleeting head of off-white. Some malt and fruit combine with some spice to make up the aroma. Sweet honey and malt flavor. Some wheat aspects are here if you search hard for them.
