Thanks to Santa for this one. Orange pour with whisps of white on top. Aroma of apples, pears, honey, chai, some fruity esters. Flavor is very fruity with nice honey and spices. Almost no apparent alcohol. Great beer. Thanks Matt!

22 oz bottle. Clear brassy orange with a ring of small bubbles. Nose is wheat, ginger and toffee; a touch medicinal. Slick mouthfeel with a subdued buzz. Taste starts with wheat and honey; merging for a time into perfectly ripe banana. Mild orange then bitter grass. Finishes earthy and sour.

Bottle with thanks to kp (I think). Pours a dingy amber with a little bit of head and aromas of spice (cloves and bananas) and honey. Flavo adds a nice pear and light fruit presence which plays well against the spices and honey. There is a little bit of a metal/bandaid presence at times which holds this back from true excellence. Nice alcoholic warmth helps this finish well, though.

Bottle. Pours a brown body with a white head. Fruity citrus and passion fruit. A bit boozy warm and devoid of hop character. Plum and pear notes and some gummy bazooka gum ester types. Nice.

Bottle sampled on 10/25/08: Pours a hazy pale bronze golden with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet wheaty caramel and doughy yeast. Starts with good sugary sweetness and malted wheat with a good bittering hop balance. Pretty true to style, but could use a little cellar time to mellow.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of honey, light fruit, slight spice, slight alcohol, light wheat, light orange, and some grapes. Poured orange in color with a tiny off-white head that disappeared quickly but lasted around the edges. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is medium to heavily sweet. Tastes of honey, fruit, wheat, light hops, grapes, slight grains, slight vanilla, and a hint of spices. Medium body. Lightly grainy, lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Light to medium sweet, fruity, honey finish is slightly dry. Lots of honey. 11%ABV is very well hidden.
