Bottle from craftbeerdesign. This was really great. 12 oz bottle, not the Side Project bottle. As promised, a huge wheat ale - tastes initially like that terrible bland wheat ale that you hate - Agave Wheat, maybe. Then the wheat keeps coming and you get wheat wine notes. THEN the honey arrives and some mead flavors happen - a nice roasty, fruity ester from where the honey fermented. It is so big and sweet sometimes you forget there is alcohol. Weird they went with Barley Wine as the style, but respect all around.

12oz bottle -pours an off white head and hazy amber/gold color. Aroma is banana, perfumy, herbal. Taste is banana, sweet light malt/grain, spice/herbal hops, alcohol. Some odd traits, but interesting.

Bottle. Disappointing beer. Had good honey, wheat arom, but then the taste of the honey was coming through lightly but was overpowered by the strong yeast, wheat flavor... too sweet for my taste

Aroma is hugely vanilla dipped oranges, sugar sweetness, and caramel maltiness, Taste is very "white" perceptively speaking. Lots of cottony vanilla, orange, wheat, more wheat, some confusing hopping that tastes a bit muddled. Strange beer. Eh.

This beer is labeled a wheat wine. I like it a lot. Its smooth as silk and seems to just slide down. I could get into serious trouble with this brew. It’s clear, crisp and deadly. I’d label this a Must Try. Another winner from Terrapin.

Pours a light orange hue with a thin layer of white head and sticky lacing. Nose is dominated by sweet honey with hints of bready malts. Flavor is the same, super sweet honey and floral hops dominate the palate, underlying malts and wheat provide a semblance of balance but are woefully underprepared, finishes super sweet on the sticky-cloying side. Medium-full body, creamy sticky smooth texture, mild-moderate carbonation. Well, this might just be the pinnacle of honey ales, sweet and sticky from start to finish, JW Dundee and college girls everywhere would be proud! Despite the lack of dimension, I still think this is a decent beer that could pair well with sweet/honey-based meals and is egregiously easy-drinking at 10%, watch out liver..... here we come!

Bottle:   Orangish straw, slight haze, thin white head, sparce lacing.   Sweet bready nose, light malts, not heavy or dark.   Sweet on the tongue but not cloying.   A little heat.   Very bready.   Not bad, a little simple.   Fairly full bodied.   Sweet finish.   Sticks to the tongue pretty good, but doesn’t have much depth.   Still fairly pleasing, and it is fairly clean.

pours a very clear orange/lt. amber color with a medium white head. smells like bubblegum with hints of orange and subtle spice. tastes like a syrupy cross between a wheat beer and a tripel...still bubblegummy with notes of honey and earthiness. mouthfeel is lively at first but it gets too syrupy in the finish. not as good as i hoped it would be.
