But, this one does taste great... extremely fresh and easily drinkable. Pours a deep golden with an inch head. Solid hoppy aroma with a medium bitter palate. Somewhat spicy on the tip, while soft on the sides. A decent bitter finish that leaves you wanting more. Great session IPA... too bad it’s only out once. Get it while you can.... tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA

Mild tree bark and pine resin. Orange marmalade. Drier, toasted malt as well. Pours a dark clear copper with a resilient, but small white head. Rightly bitter on the tongue. Plenty of dry and citrusy hop notes but also a lot of dry, bready and toasty malt. Medium bodied and quite firm on the tongue with a decent bitter finish. Thanks David! kmweaver (2501), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a golden-orange color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Resiny oranges and citrus hops in the aroma; smooth; quite pleasant. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy oranges, citrus, and tropical fruits; soft on the palate; quite drinkable and resinous. Medium finish: oranges, sugar, and a touch of dust. Quite tasty. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma, citrus, grapefruit, and pine, some pale malts. Flavor, citrus, pine and an herbal character, very light bodied, some traces of pale malts. Just kind of came off as bland. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Clear honey yellow colored body with a small white head. Bright orange and pineapple fruity hops first noticed, turning a bit muddled over time, and also developing a tinny character as well. Flavor has some cracker malts, bran, etc, that really shouldn’t be in an IPA, and the hops come across as a syrupy orange candy flavor with moderate bitterness, and a medium to light body for the style. (I’m calling it IPA and guessing 7% ABV). Not exactly a great beer, but still tasty. marbecurb (2), USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 16, 2008 Nice smooth IPA. Not as bitter as most IPA’s. I love a good bitter IPA, but this was a nice change of pace. Nice hoppy aroma and flavor. Goes down easy. I love the stuff. ogglethorp (890), Ohio, USA

Aroma is light malts, floral, citrus. Flavor is caramel, floral, light citrus. Palate is more light bodied than anything else, medium carbonation, finished mildly bitter. So-so at best. Doesn’t hold a candle to any of the decent IPA’s much less the good ones. illinismitty (1809), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 15, 2008 Bottle from the German Milkshake machine, Ross. Pours a medium golden amber with a white head. Nice floral hop aroma. Malt profile has a blend of toasted malts, toffee, rye, and biscuit that is countered by a moderate herbal and somewhat catty bitterness, with some citrus accents coming out as well. Dry and hoppy finish. Reminds me of some the hop profiles of Pacific NW beers. This was not bad, but this makes me wonder if this beer was basically constructed by throwing a bunch of leftover ingredients into the kettle to see what happens. Why else would this be a one off? This is also not the hop bomb that the label leads you to believe. Worth a try, but not a repeat for me.
