Terrapin Side Project Maggies Farmhouse Ale

Pretty good, actually. Not packed with awesome flavor or anything, but OK. It’s refreshing at least, which is kind of what I was in the mood for. Gearing up for game 4, must win for the Phils.

bottle thanks to Cavie, who shared it at the Houston RB Tasting in October. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. nose is of yeast, lemon and spices. Taste is of spices, pepper, yeast and lemon. Mouthfeel is dry.

Pale golden color, slightly hazy. Thin white head. Aroma is spicy, with underlying yeast, hint of sweet bananas. Similar flavor, some pepper and other spices, some sweetness, not much in the way of bitterness. Lingering yeasty taste. Not a bad beer, if not exceptional either.

Pours a hazy amber with a nice white head. Smells of dry malt, floral, funky, spicy. Tastes dry and spicy with some perfumy hints and a funky finish. Courtesy of cheersmate1.

Slightly cloudy pour with a lasting white head. Nice spicy, peppery aroma with banana and yeast. Flavor is more of the same, with a nice medium body and creamy mouthfeel. Fruity finish. Pretty good saison.

Bottle shared by Paul. Full on doughy yeast aroma, spritzy dry soda, flowers, eggs. Complex. I dig it. The flavor is a bit thin, sweet, not as enjoyable as the aroma, some strawberry and fall foliage flavors. Nice body.

Bottle courtesy of emacgee. Clear orange appearance. Not a bad smell. Light grain with scents of champagne sweet. Tastes of sweet grain with flavor that extends beyond what is expected. Not bad.
