Very light in color, big fluffy head and aroma of your typically belgian yeast funk. Flavor is mildly peppery, lemon, a bit earthy. Low carbonation and a slight gut burner. Nothing too special I was hoping for more hoppiness out of this IIPA. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

Flavor is hoppy with a soft, sugary Belgian fruitiness. Aggressive, yet strangely smooth. Very good. michael-pollack (2728), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured orange/golden/amber in color with a small off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is light to medium bitter and lightly sweet. Tastes of hops, yeast, light pepper, light banana, light tropical fruit, light sugar, malts, slight alcohol, slight pine,
Medium body. Oily, lightly sticky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Sweet, slightly bitter, sugar, hops, yeast, and slight alcohol finish is a bit sticky.

Still a decent offering with a higher abv but you still get an alcohol burning feeling. Rciesla (3777), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange body with an off white head. Very wheat y and chewy coriander light lemon and and some light spices. Most of the IPA characteristics are consumed by the pure Belgian influence of cane sugars and citrus and wheat fruit. Etoh and fruit is a bit much overall. hellbilly (1534), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

a hazy orange gold colored pour is capped by a slight white head.
the nose is sweet and tingly with alcohol and spice... aromas of orange, yeast, earth, banana (which i’ll assume is alcohol), light pine and lots of flowers.
the flavor profile mirrors the aroma only it is way too sweet with a spicy unpleasantly hot finish. the aftertaste is awfully bitter and resinous... somehow the sugar didn’t cover it up?
thick bodied, cloyingly sweet and sticky... an all around mess.6/3/5/2/12/2.8 LtDan (522), Los Angeles County, California, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 18, 2009 Appearance: Pours a golden orange with a white pin stripe.
Aroma: Mango, clove, orange and perfume.
Taste: Tropical fruit, spicy and bitter hops and candi sugar.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, thick but not goopy.
Overall: A mind blowing creation. I couldn’t believe how awesome this was. Might be able to compare it to Green Flash Le Freak, but this one gets the nod. redlight (1495), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Nice fruity yeast flavor definitely la choufe yeast (which i love) earthy spices, clove, cinnamon, peppery, with sweet citrus, and citrus hops, with a great bitterness. Solid beer.
