May 7, 2009 I hate to bring this up as much as I do but when I pour a beer that draws from Belgian influence and get no head I’m immediately disappointed. Fortunately, appearance is the only thing holding this one back. I get a nice dose of piney hops in the nose followed by some tropical fruit and biscuit. The flavor is definitely bitter but leans more towards the fruity yeasty goodness of a tripel than the over the top bitterness of a DIPA. Who knew that pine trees, pineapple, orange marmade, and day old biscuit could taste so good?

May 7, 2009 Bottle from Sam’s. This is more impressive than I thought. Looks not-so-exciting. Golden/light orange pour with smallish white head. Lovely fruity and hoppy nose with just a hit of yeast. Much less than I expected. Smells more like a fruity double IPA. Similarly on the taste, I expected the tart yeast dryness of a "Belgian IPA" beer, but it leans more toward a Tripel (as should be expected from the description). Solid.

May 7, 2009 Updated: May 10, 2009Bottle, thanks bu11zeye pours with a small, white head fading over a clear golden body. Aroma of floral, flowery hops, a touch of dark fruitiness from the Belgian yeast. Taste is alcohol, hops and Belgian yeast. Medium carbonation.

May 7, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a gold with white head. Aroma of some bubble gum, fruity, and some malt...Flavor of some malt, bubble gum, hop flavor, fruity, with some bitterness. Mouth feel is medium body with high carbonation. Overall, pretty good shit!

May 6, 2009 Bottle in trade from ROBORB. Thanks dude! Pours golden orange with a short lived head. Smell is belgian yeast, fresh hops and some metallic notes. Taste is hoppy, slightly yeasty with some estery notes. Medium to full body and normal carbonation levels. Lasting hop flavor in the finish. Pretty drinkable and enjoyable.

Hazy, light tan. Lemon candy aroma with mint accents, orange and a nice agave nectar malt character. Relatively bitter with a sweeter slightly icing sugary finish. Some orange peel character. Neat stuff - a bit of alcohol so it’s not the smoothest example though.

May 3, 2009 It’s head and lacing dissapate quick. Lite copper color. Lots of carbination. Smells of a IPA mostly. Full bodied hop bombish with spicy malt flavor. Almost like Dogfish 120. Powerful fellow.
