Glass:Tripel Karmeliet tulip.
Appearance:Hazy gold pour with a thin off white head.
Aroma:Resin and flowers, with a hint of sugar.
Flavor:Sweet sugar up front with a resiny finish.
Palate:Medium/full body with solid carbonation.
Overall:A solid cross between a Belgian and an IIPA. This is not a style I care for really, but this was a solid representation.

Sweet malty aroma with some fruity esters and sassafras. Initial flavor of sweet pale malts and spicy hops, but transitions to belgian phenols, white pepper, and a hint of alcohol. Not bad but nothing I would seek out. Naven (883), Poway, California, USA

Nice hop bite, and the Belgian yeast isn’t too overpowering. Pretty strong, but drinkable. golubj (1301), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Slightly opaque pour that is light orange in color. The nose has bubblegum, strong alcohol and citrus smells and is quite complex. Despite the alcohol nose it is supremely drinkable and has nice unbitter grapefruit oils. The belgian yeast also plays very well with the hops. I really enjoyed this one.
