Volume 5: This new age beer style is a fusion of two great brewing traditions that are worlds apart - a hoppy American Double IPA and a classic Belgian Tripel. Beware the Gnome in the funny green hat!

Bottle, from Stop & Shop, Coral Gables
Hazy, light tan. Lemon candy aroma with mint accents, orange and a nice agave nectar malt character. Relatively bitter with a sweeter slightly icing sugary finish. Some orange peel character. Neat stuff - a bit of alcohol so it’s not the smoothest example though.

Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy golden color. Nice hoppy aroma, both with fruits and elderflowers, very nice. Quite common toffee flavor, dryish; strong bitterness, with some bitter oranges. Actually I like the aggressively warm alcohol final.
