Really nice aroma - spicy with lots of cinnamin and nutmeg and brown sugar. Flavor is pretty the same, maybe a little of thoses little cinnaomin candies that people put on cookies - "Red Hots" or something like that. Maybe a bit hoppyness in the end? Nice stuff.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Aroma is green, squash, nutmeg, brown sugar, mustard. Flavor is surprisingly subtle in terms of pumpkin. Muddled, watery, spicy. I suspect this was brewed with fewer pumpkins than many other pumpkin ales. Tastes maybe like a lager. Not bad, just wish there was more to it. maniac (2773), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Clean finish, just not enough umph.   Thanks Rob!

The palate shows deep malt with the pumpkin spices following the initial flavors. Great long finish. riversideAK (2803), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Enjoyable nose of subtle spice, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, toast. Pumpkin pie really, but toned down a bit. Copper orange pour, no head. The flavor has really pleasant pumpkin pie notes - cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, with toasted malt and caramel notes. Light lingering spicy sweetness. Not over done in any category. Body might have been a tad thin, but this drank nicely and was enjoyable. ucusty (1921), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 24, 2009 22oz bomber, no date from GAManiac--thanks Grant! Clear reddish orange with a one finger, quickly fading off-white head. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin dominate the nose. There is also some caramel and a light metallic lager note. Flavor has more of a toasty malt dominance but the spices are still present,as well as some light pumpkin. Lightly sweet toasty finish with bitterness around a 2-3. Moderate prickly carbonation with a light body. Pretty good pumpkin beer. Rciesla (3880), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
