The beer came in the typical Terrapin side project 22 oz. bomber, and poured out the classic pumpkin orange colored, and clear. The carbonation appeared lively, and the head was one finger small but stable. The aroma was pumpkin and spices (cinnamon and nutmeg). The taste was herbal, and full of pumpkin pulp. The finish was dry, which probably was the effect of the spices. The body felt medium thick, but fluffy due to the carbonation. The aftertaste was sweet and spicy and lingered for a very long time after each sip. A very well made beer with a good deal of pumpkin flavor. If you don’t like pumpkins, this would be over the top for you.

Dec 30, 2009 Enjoyable nose of subtle spice, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, toast. Pumpkin pie really, but toned down a bit. Copper orange pour, no head. The flavor has really pleasant pumpkin pie notes - cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, with toasted malt and caramel notes. Light lingering spicy sweetness. Not over done in any category. Body might have been a tad thin, but this drank nicely and was enjoyable.

Dec 24, 2009 22oz bomber, no date from GAManiac--thanks Grant! Clear reddish orange with a one finger, quickly fading off-white head. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin dominate the nose. There is also some caramel and a light metallic lager note. Flavor has more of a toasty malt dominance but the spices are still present,as well as some light pumpkin. Lightly sweet toasty finish with bitterness around a 2-3. Moderate prickly carbonation with a light body. Pretty good pumpkin beer.

Dec 23, 2009 Bomma. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Pumpkin pie notes, with some spicy cinnamon and nutmeg character. Spicy with a medium body and a light malty finish. A nice pumpkin ale.

Dec 20, 2009 Bottle: pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is full of spice plenty of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, a little bit of the pumpkin comes through also. Flavor is also has plenty of the spice and lots of pumpkin, no hops but very drinkable and a nice pumpkin beer.

Dec 19, 2009 sample. a deep copper color... nice pumpkin / spice aromas... medium body filled with typical pumpkin notes along with nutmeg, sweet malts and other spices. Really nice overall flavors throughout. on the end this one leaves a very pleasant feel in the mouth. nice pumpkin ale with a Oktoberfest twist... I definitely picked up more of the pumpkin side.

Dec 18, 2009 Bomber from jrob21 – thanks, bra! Room-filling pumpkin pie spice out of the bottle with vanilla and dark earthiness singing backup. Beautiful red-amber with a short sudsy beige head. Taste is fizzy dark Oktoberfest malt with a hint of pumpkin beer, but I’d say the blend is somewhere between 3:1 and 3:2. Fat malty body and no big alcohol. Mildly satisfying, though I’d love more from the pumpkin side, especially considering the good concept (otherwise this is a spiced Oktoberfest in need of some punch).

Dec 18, 2009 Copper-red pour with a lot of visible carbonation and a lasting creamy white head. Aroma is pumpkinesque with heavy cinnamon. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Normal pumpkin pie flavors for the style. No hint of weird off-tastes or funkiness. Straight up pumpkin brew. Nice body, rather tasty.
