Aroma has a light smokiness to it. Flavor is smoke and toasted malt. A smooth, medium body beer. I like this one because the smoke doesn’t overwhelm the beer. Nice. tjthresh (1774), Greenfield, Indiana, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 9, 2008 the bomber yields a ripe mahogany pour with minimal head. The aromas, while rich in bacon and pit bbq, come across a little thin, with accents of salt and bacon fat. the flavors follow through, but add that smoke flavor from the malts. and the palate, while think for my personal liking, also is accented by carbonated black fruit. It’s a good beer, but not my fav of smokies. jcwattsrugger (5443), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
