I like rye, which gave it an edge. The smoke was significantly there - it was nice but it was a bit too much. Nice head. The smoke did not generate too much an aroma. Medium plus mouthfeel.

The taste was smoke, coffee, roasted malts and a touch of sweetness. I enjoyed this beer, it was very easy to drink. Thanks wolf for sharing this one. pineypower (1104), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA

Pours out a moderate hue of brown with a moderate slightly off white head. Smoky/sweet malts come through on the aroma. Taste is of sweet malts, come caramel and some other sweetness going on in there. Smoke was present in the taste, but I was looking for a little bit more. Went very well with BBQ pulled pork. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate smoke malty and hop aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet smoke flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectation where exceeded. Skyview (4076), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Pours a semi-clear brownish amber brew with a thick beige head that has a slow dissipation with a creamy film top. Aroma of roasted and smoked caramel malt, a touch of pork, dry rye malts, soem citrus hops and a touch of chocolate. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation with flavors of smoked rye and caramel malts, some toffee, chocolate and smoked wood. Finish continues the smoked multi-grain malt aftertaste with a mild bitterness that quickly disappears. Pastor (509), Maine, USA

Great smoky aromas are present along with a nice light rye smell. Flavors are light, bacon and rye toast are good descriptors for these flavors. The mouthfeel is medium with ample carbonation making this brew very easy to drink
