Commercial Description:
The Sunray Wheat is a German style unfiltered wheat beer brewed with a touch of local, Georgia Coast, Tupelo honey from the Savannah Bee Company. It’s inviting banana/sweet clove like aroma gives way to a pleasant, clean finish with a hint of tartness.

Ga. tick thanks to friend Heather. Pale pee colored. Hazy and all. Less head than my pee though. Nose is apple cider lightly sweet. Honey, lemon. Taste is light and sweet wheat beer. Probably great after mowing the lawn in 90 degree heat. Bit of yeast peeking through. Not the worst light hefe I’ve ever had.

Bottle, pours a light haze beer with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet grassy wheat and honey. Decent summer beer, nothing super

A hazy, barely translucent golden, typical for a hefeweizen. Aroma is strong, malty and wheaty with strong undertones of honey and lemon, quite appealing. Flavor is wheaty with strong lemony hints and a firm tone of honey that complements the rest of the flavors. Texture is very smooth and fairly fizzy.

old note, Pint at Tyler’s Apex. Ok aroma, sweet banana, little clove, spice. Hazed golden yellow color, small head, faded quick, no lace. Sweet spiced flavor, Lite body, thin watery mouthfeel, spiced dry finish. OK, doesn’t offend, doesn’t wow me either. Little on the sweet side for most wheat’s. Could be a lawnmower brew...

Tap at Capones. Pours a very light hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma is very spicy phenolic, clove dominates with light vanilla, sharp lemony wheat and peppery. Flavor is zesty wehat, crisp pils, sharp spices, phenolic and a toch solvent and thin. Finish is a bit weak and lacks a bit of body. Meh.

Pours a typical pale, cloudy orange with thick white head. Aroma strong of wheat and bubblegum. Flavor matches and is definitely nothing special. Drinkable and refreshing, but nothing I need to return to.

this beer is very light and fruity, with a touch of bubblegum at the end. the hazy cloudy wheat color gives it a finite flavor one for hot days.

The aroma is a bit funky from the honey and also has some strange maltiness as well as the typical banana and clove elements. The appearance is hazy white gold with a foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin but right for the style. Overall a good beer.
