The appearance is hazy white gold with a foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin but right for the style. Overall a good beer. viet959 (73), , Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 25, 2009 Updated: Jun 11, 2009Taste test with Paulaner, Terrapin Sunray, and Allagash White. Aroma - wheat, sweet honey, lemon, banana, very light cloves. Appearance - Cloudy yellow with no head or lacing. The same color as Allagash but less cloudy.
Taste - Light, wheat, citrus, sweet
Overall - It has a kind of awkward finish. I taste the sweetness from the honey which is nice but I think it doesn’t quite balance as well as it could. I give this last place in taste but tied with Allagash in value b/c this stuff is priced very well. kimcgolf (832), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2009 Poured to a light orange-red with some head and lacing. Nose was somewhat faint, but contained hoppy fruit (apples), and wheat dough, and the taste picked up on these with about the same strength. Mouthfeel was pretty thin, and almost leaned toward grainy, and the finish was likewise.
This is better than a BMC attempt at a wheat beer, but not much. Definitely not one of Terrapin’s best efforts. TURDFERGUSON (1603), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA

Okay tasting American wheat but this really doesn’t do it for me. My least favorite "type" of summer beer. ben4321 (1036), Rockville, Maryland, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2009 On tap at Tyler’s. Pours very pale hazy yellow. Thin white head. Big banana nose with some clove, citrus, and a good bit of yeast and wheat. Palate is nice and medium dry though some sweetness lingers. This might be the most banana-forward wheat beer I’ve had. An easy summer drinker. beerbill (1963), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2009 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with GAManiac. Pours a cloudy yellow with a moderate white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left virtually no lace. Pleasant aroma of wheat, bananas and cloves. The flavor is quite a bit different from the aroma and is mostly dominated by bubblegum along with some cloves and just a bit of banana. An enjoyable wheat beer.
