On tap at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 08/18/2009. Cloudy pale orange body with a medium foamy white head. Banana and light spice aroma. Banana and clove flavor. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

Bottle from Total Wine & More (Ft. Myers, FL) - Very small white fizzy fully diminishing head, no lacing, fast rising carbonation, hazy body, and a straw hue. The aroma is honey, wheat, some citrus hops, banana, spicy, and clove. The flavor is sweet, banana, clove, spicy, and a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel is tiingly and somewhat watery. This is a light bodied beer. Overall, a very easy to drink beer due to the light texture. I would have rated this higher, but it needs more depth and character IMO.

Bottle @ The Headkeeper. Pours a hazy yellow, small white head. Sweet wheat aroma with touches of bubblegum, clove and banana. Flavor is wheat, banana, clove, spices, honey and some grassy notes in the background. Thin, light body, slight metallic taste on the finish.

Bottle; poured bright yellow with a thing ring of head and noticeable yeast sediment. Aroma was predominantly of orange and coriander, wheat, slightly phenolic per style, with undertones of bubblegum and root. Flavor begins sweet orange, moves to an effervescent peppery carbonation, wheat malt accentuated by coriander, moderate fruity phenols, slight caramel sweetness, and bitter orange rounds it out. Palate is light, refreshing I suppose if that’s your thing, but perhaps too light for my taste.

Bottle. Hazed golden body with a quickly fading white head. Aroma is wheat, lemon, light hops, banana, spice and light honey. Taste is more banana, wheat, yeast, light lemon, honey, biscuity malt, light hops and spice. Body is light and the carbonation is effervescent. Finishes with more banana, light spice, honey, sweet malt, biscuit, light yeast, wheat and light spice. Surprisingly hefeweizen-like in flavor. A nice surprise!

12oz bottle. Lightly hazed straw body topped by small white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, bubblegum, some banana, clove, light honey. Taste is moderately sweet, banana cream, bubblegum, light clove, straw. Light-medium body, some creaminess, light acidity.

The SunRay pours a cloudy and slightly dark golden color. The head starts off pretty generous, but just about disappears to just some small areas of collected bubbles. The head does stick pretty well to the sides of the glass, leaving some nice lacing. The aroma contains notes of what, bubblegum, banana, light cloves, hay and grass. The body is very smooth and drinkable. The flavors are very well-rounded, with tones of bubblegum, honey, clove, light citrus, lemon zest and light spices. Some black pepper and very subtle coriander seeps through in the finish. This is a very delicious and enjoyable wheat beer.

Bottle from Kingdom Liquors. Poured a clear amber color with an minimal frothy white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate wheat and spice aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
