shp555 (1678), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 7, 2009 Pours a hazy copper color with a tan head. Aroma is caramel, oak, vanilla, some crystal malt, and earthy hops. Flavor is chocolate, roast, caramel, toast, and a bitter citrus earthy finish. LilBeerDoctor (1480), East Setauket, New York, USA Jun 22, 2009 Updated: Jul 11, 2009On draft at ACBF09. Pours a cloudy orange/brown with a small head. Aroma of grassy hops and caramel malt. Flavor is quite sweet with lots of caramel and sweet malt. No hops in the flavor though. Hmm, I was let down by this one.
7/4/6/3/13 (3.3/5) Hank1980 (734), Athens, Georgia, USA Jun 3, 2009 Draft at Terrapin. Poured cloudy light brown with off-white head. Aroma is really nice mix of sweet malt, chocolate, maple, citrus hops, and oak. Taste is really sweet and oaky, with some fruity notes coming through as well - citrus and others. Mouth is pretty full and sticky. Finishes with a little hop bite and some smooth oak. A really enjoyable brew. nerdrocker101 (102), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 31, 2009 Draft from East West Connector Taco Mac. I found it to be on the sweeter side. The idea of throwing in a plethora of ingredients sounds good, but I think it takes away from the beer. Nothing about it stuck it to me, but it was still a good beer. GodOfThunder (855), Orlando, Florida, USA May 25, 2009 Draft at the Terrapin Brewery. Pours a cloudy brown with a tan head. Aroma of sweet honey, caramel, oak and malts. Lots of malts in the flavor. Full bodied with a ton of sweetness, honey, caramel, molasses, maple syrup and a ton of malt. Nice beer and thanks to the guys in Athens for making sure I got to taste it. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2009 Updated: Nov 7, 2009

jhumphries69 (717), Tyrone, Georgia, USA May 22, 2009 Draft at Taco Mac (not that it’s available any other way...). Pours a slightly cloudy brownish-orange amber with a thin white head. The aroma is complex and malty with awesome notes of fruit and spice. There are aromas of chocolate-covered cherries, maple syrup, and molasses. It has a very nutty quality and subtle herbal notes. It smells very sweet. The flavor starts bready with aromatic, herbal, somewhat medicinal qualities. You can also taste up front a little bit of ethanol with spices and lots of malt sweetness. At midpalate, there is a soft, herbal bitterness with lots of caramel and toffee. The finish is aromatic citrus (bitter orange marmalade), soft earthy hops, some almost astringent, floral, herbal qualities, and grainy semi-sweet malt. There is some warming and bitter ethanol in finish. The mouthfeel is crisply carbonated but subsides into a frothy creaminess. It is also full in body. Overall, a very nice, very interesting, sweet, malty ale! unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA May 14, 2009 Rating #1900.::
Tap @ TacoMac. Terrapin’s offering to their 30th Birthday. 30 F’n ingredients!!! Cloudy, deep copper \ orange \ light brown color. Creamy almond colored head. Huge lacing down the length of the pint glass. Aroma is of everything in this world that is good. From honey to wood, caramel to straw, freshly milled malts, honey roasted malts, big citrus hops, some light grass. Light raisin and some apple, nice vanilla, and more honey. Flavor is a big predilection of sweetness. Big sweetness that some would call cloying. Superbly balanced. Nice hop. Calming bitterness with a hint of citrus essence and spice. Flavor is out of this world. It is beers like this that makes American Brewing #1 in the world. Full bodied. Smooth, sweet and creamy. Heavenly. This beer even finishes with a hint of Pinot Grigio fruitiness. Thank you, SPIKE!
