fro2218 (465), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Nov 1, 2007 This was a nice offering at the Atlanta Cask ale tasting. Though I am not a huge fan of the Wake-n-Bake due to its over bearing coffee. This cask was a little mellower and the vanilla oak really was nice and helped this beer out a ton. Nice jobs on this one. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 01/28/2006

pintocb (417), Darsville, Georgia, USA Feb 26, 2006 Updated: Apr 11, 2007Amazing beer. The vanilla chips really made a difference. I had it out of the bottle (edit: regular W & B) the weekend prior to the festival, and just had another bottle tonight, and there is a big difference. I feel badly for the folks that didn’t get to try this one. SpringsLicker (1824), Tennessee, USA Feb 1, 2006 Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting
Similar in most all respects to the regular seasonal with an added dimension of faint vanilla oak dryness. The cask version was poured from pitchers and lacked the thick creamy head it probably would have shown with a fresh pour to the glass. RateandPillage (417), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jan 29, 2006 On cask at 2006 Atlanta Cask Ale Fest. Pours black. Definite coffee and chocolate aroma with a slight amount of wood. Flavor much the same. Could have used some more wood-aging. Definitely one of the more full-bodied bigger beers at the fest. Would have been nice to have the previous Wake-n-Bake recipe on cask.
