750ml bottle from Tesco, Bicester, 26-10-06. A warm golden colour, with a slim white head. Yeast and malts on the aroma, taste was a little spicey, with some citric fruitiness and a tad sweet but a very pleasant beer and far better than I had expected.

A Mes rate: bottle at Chris O’s Post GBBF Tasting.
Bright amber gold with a thin but stable white head. Reasonably impressive aroma. Sweet and sugary with some Belgian yeasty notes and some decent hoppage. Spicy flavour with light ginger notes and some germoline. Dull finish. Run of the mill at best.
